Landmark Hospital of SW Florida has an exciting opportunity for a PRN

Physical Therapist (PT)

to join our dedicated and professional team! Landmark Hospital is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve. The PRN PT will primarily work backup shifts during vacation or overflow needs. We can schedule a regular shift for you as well. We have ultimate flexibility!

PRN - Days / weekends

Summary:

A Physical Therapist (PT)is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, treatment and evaluation of physical therapy for patients.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for specific patient populationsAssesses patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs to determine level and type of careDevelops and maintains current patient treatment plan to include patient problems, goals, and interventionsDelivers care based on acuity level, identified needs, and physician ordersCoordinates physical therapy care activities with other departments/disciplinesAssesses, collaborates, and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for dischargeAssesses patient/family learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn and integrates needs into plan of careProvides appropriate education/orientation to patients/familiesRequirements:

Bachelor's degree or post Graduate degree (PT)

Active Physical Therapist (PT) License in the stateBLS Certification preferred (Classes offered!)

Minimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care/acute care preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSuperior analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skillsTeam, detail and goal orientedPositive, professional and empathetic demeanor
