The Vice President of Business Development, Wireless, is responsible for the business development, go to market plan development and execution, and works with the product team to create solutions to meet the needs of clients, sells existing products, and is responsible for achieving targeted growth in the business. This leader evaluates and coordinates the workflow and activities of the onboarding and launch of new clients with management, the account services team, operations, IT, and finance functions.
Essential Functions
Drive and research potential business expansion / collaboration opportunities based on the market; working with the senior management team on opportunities within retail across all channels to grow businesses that are consistent with the company's overall strategy including new products and customer acquisition.Sales and Marketing: Develops and makes sales presentations to potential and existing clients in conjunction with marketing team. Develop and qualify leads, phone prospecting, setting up appointments, preparing and presenting sales proposals, closing deals.Oversee the sales process in assigned verticals to include creating, managing, coordination and execution of marketing strategies & campaigns. Building tactical plans, utilizing all available tools to meet and exceed company expectations while working with internal Centricity partners.Optimizes and creates company strategic relationships with business partners in assigned verticals.Work on projects and assignments assigned by leadership relating to the growth and expansion of the organization.Background Requirements
10 years of sales and/or business development experience in wireless retail/MVNO space8-10 years proven experience successfully placing products and services in retailFamiliarity with selling products, services, and/or extended warranty in the wireless sector to both large and mid-size dealers and MVNOsHas a wide network of contacts in the wireless industry.Preferred Education, Traits and Experience
Bachelor's degree or greaterAbility to analyze data and make recommendations.Capacity planning and scheduling experienceExceptional communication skillsSuperior presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPointStrong problem solving and decision-making skills.Professional attitude and appearanceAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentService orientedTeam player
