Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Portfolio Manager to support Product Lead (PdL) MilTech Solutions information and knowledge management requirements at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. This position may require some travel (less than 5%) to functional contract sites at both locations and geographically separated units. This position will support a large IT service program that includes application development, maintenance, administration, and management tasks.Responsibilities
The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible fo supporting DoD projects and managing and deploying complex and state-of-the-art integrated systems. This candidate will develop IT system portfolio management solutions to support IT system inventory reduction, the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture, the Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Investment Review Board certifications and Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI).The Senior Portfolio Manager must possess more than just a fundamental knowledge of portfolio management tools and concepts. This position will support a wide range of technologies and tools, including the following:* milSuite (Jive, Media Wiki, WordPress)* Document Management (Microsoft SharePoint) 6.2 Task 2 Consortium Support Cell* Project Management (Microsoft Project Server, Corasworks, Primavera) * 6.3 Task 3 MilTech Support Center and Help Desk* Single Interface to the Field (Remedy, Liferay)* Personnel Accountability: MIRARS/Roll Call (.Net, SQL, Mongo and Twilio)* Instant Messaging/Broadcast Capability (IBM Lotus Sametime)* Decision Support Tools (Decision Lens, DOORS)* Fortify* Enterprise Search and Discovery (ElasticSearch, FAST)* Business Intelligence (SAP, Microsoft SharePoint Analytics)* Custom Application Development (ASP.NET, PHP, Java* Taxonomy (Metalogix)Qualifications
Required:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline* Thorough knowledge of the Acquisition program life cycle, the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS), the Federal Information Assurance Act (FISMA) and interrelations of each functional discipline to execute successful completion of the project* Excellent communications skills are also critical, as this candidate will interact with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design. Must be articulate in communicating both orally and in writing with the ability to present to Flag Officers, General Officers, and members of the Senior Executive ServiceDesired:* DAWIA Level III in Program Management or PMP Certification* Master's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline* Experience deploying large scale hardware and software systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites* Experience with current and emerging network and infrastructure management technologies and business practicesBenefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (PPO & HSA options available)
