ROLE OVERVIEW
The Bovine Reproductive Specialist (DVM) is an integral part of our global team to help bring certainty to genetic progress in livestock. The Bovine Reproductive Specialist will perform ovum pickup procedures, embryo transfers, and work alongside team members to perform all duties associated with embryo production, data entry, and communication while adhering to Vytelle standard operating procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete Vytelle's specialized training program designed to prepare team members for in-field veterinary work; travel to training sites as neededWork independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAdheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs), processing directives, production standards, policies and health and safety directives and regulationsMaintain flexibility for working hours as IVF processes are time-dependentFollow established Ovum Pickup (OPU) processes including equipment set up/calibration, animal preparation, maintaining a sanitary work field, oocyte aspiration, documentation, and all other tasks associated with the procedureAssist client and fellow teammates with recipient synchrony questionsEmbryo transfer procedures following standard operating proceduresMaintain embryo production data recordsEstablish and maintain AETA (American Embryo Transfer Association) membership and certificationOversee the certification and compliance of the embryo laboratory for export purposesAttend and participate in team and company meetingsRole Model Behaviors - Engage, enable empower and act on:Vytelle's Core Values
