Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, including initial consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing management.Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasound scans, hormone assessments, and genetic screenings.Conduct transvaginal ultrasounds and assist in oocyte retrieval procedures for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) patients.Educate patients on fertility options, treatment protocols, and reproductive health, ensuring informed decision-making throughout the process.Offer compassionate support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing emotional and psychological aspects of infertility.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols.Stay current on advancements in reproductive medicine through continuing education, professional development, and participation in research initiatives.
Qualifications:Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a fertility clinic or OBGYN setting, with expertise in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.Proficiency in conducting pelvic examinations, performing transvaginal ultrasounds, and interpreting laboratory results.Experience assisting in IVF procedures, including oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and cycle monitoring.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and colleagues.Dedication to excellence in patient care, with a focus on delivering personalized and compassionate services.Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
