New Hire: $17.80 per hour
This position is eligible for CATEGORY 5 benefits.
Type of Work:
Operates assigned bus. Other duties as described in the Transportation Handbook and/or as assigned by the Director of Transportation and/or Superintendent of Schools.
Time Required: (Working Hours)
Regular Route: Monday -- Friday Hours a day dependent on route bid 5:15 -- 8:30 AM and 2:00 -- 5:15
PM NOTE: Time and schedule as assigned by the Director of Transportation and/or Superintendent of Schools.
Qualifications:
Willing to train Holds a CDL's license, S endorsement.
Pass required physical exam.
Must have a high school diploma and a minimum 10th grade reading level.
Available for special training as required.
Must relate well with students and adults.
Able to demonstrate reasonable skill in operation of a school bus and pass all state requirements.
Must have no record of child abuse or neglect and have never been convicted of any offense other than a minor traffic violation.
Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
