Starting Salary Range: $68,757 - $85,947 annually DOE, plus benefits

The Position

We are seeking a Property Manager to plan, implement, monitor, and supervise portfolio/site-based property management and staff. We value your unique perspective and background. Responsibilities

• Develop strong connections and relationships with staff and residents that conform to the articulated goals of the assigned portfolio;

• Assist in developing and administering operational plans and portfolio/site-based budgets;

• Serve as owner liaison between EHA and partnerships and/or funding agencies;

• Develop and direct a marketing strategy and budget that successfully attracts low and moderate-income families and individuals to the property;

• Plan, facilitate, and approve repairs and improvements;

• Evaluate the maintenance and repair program regularly and prepare reports upon request for various stakeholders;

• Conduct oversight to resident lease compliance efforts;

• Oversee program staff;

• Provide technical expertise, information and assistance to the Senior Property Manager;

• Manage, monitor, and enforce the Safety Policies and Procedures and the Personnel Policies and Procedures for assigned area, ensuring staff accountability for accident prevention and reporting procedures.

Requirements

Requirements to Qualify for the Position

Option 1:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or four (4) years of combined formal equivalent education in public administration, community development, social services, human services, sociology or related field.

• PLUS, three (3) years of closely related experience working in residential property management; and

• one (1) year of supervisory experience.

Option 2:

Six (6) years of closely related experience working in residential property management.

• PLUS, one (1) year of lead, training, guidance, supervisory and management experience.

Licenses and Other Requirements

• Valid Washington State driver's license with an insurable driving record, or ability to obtain driver's license within 60 days of starting employment;

• Professional certification in Low Income Housing Tax Credit, or Housing Choice Voucher, or Senior Housing, or Housing Quality Standards or be willing to obtain more or more of the certification(s) within one year;

• Fair Housing Certification or ability to obtain one within 90 days.

Desirable Qualifications

• Compassion, empathy, and a passion for serving less-enfranchised people within the community;

• Bilingual fluency in either Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic or Spanish language:

• Experience working with a Housing Authority;

• Experience using Yardi Voyager and Rent Café software.
