Your satisfaction is our top priority!We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for our Santa Ana, CA office.The Senior Staff Accountant will support accurate and timely accounting and reporting for balance sheet and income statement accounts, provide accounting services including assisting in month end close, revenue recognition, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and analysis, and providing accounting support to Finance and Operations personnel, prepare and inputs to external financial reporting, support internal and external audit requests for tax and regulatory requirements, assist in technical accounting research activities and various projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide reconciliations for balance sheet and expense accountsAllocate expenses for the different entities and departmentsPrepare bank reconciliationsAssist with preparing month and year-end closeAssist with resolving any discrepancies or accounting issuesAssist with journal entries and account analysisOrganize work files and documentsInteract with outside auditors and accountantsAssist with year-end tax filings, as neededAssist in ensuring company financial policies are followedAssist with California certified payroll/eCPR reporting
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting,4 years experience, ideally in a construction environment w/project cost experienceMust be proficient with general ledger software and Microsoft OfficeStrong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skillsAbility to multi-task on a daily basisExcellent communication skills and attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.Tecta America Southern California offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, etc.
