OverviewThe function of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide clinical oversight and to assist in the administration of the program services.
Service provision includes evaluative services, clinical treatment, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning.
All clinical services are offered in compliance with agency requirements for licensure and accreditation.
Responsibilities
Provides ongoing administrative and clinical supervision for staff for up to 10 hours per week.
Oversees compliance with licensing, funding and accreditation requirements for staff under direct supervision.
Works with supervisees to resolve performance issues
Acquires knowledge ongoing regarding standards and requirements for licensure, accreditation and funding.
Adheres to confidentiality requirements as stated by law and licensing standards.
Maintains a teamwork approach to supervisory duties and works cooperatively with the Director of Outpatient Services.
Is supportive of the YMCA Annual Campaign.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of the Electronic Health Record.
Qualifications
The Clinical Supervisor must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling or other related Human Services concentration, accompanied by a NJ licensure as an LCSW or LPC.
The Clinical Supervisor must possess a Clinical Supervisor’s certification to supervise intermediate level licensed clinicians.
Must demonstrate a high level of cultural competence, sensitivity and responsiveness
Must possess strong communication, writing and time management skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Valid NJ Driver’s License, acceptable driving record, and valid NJ Motor Vehicle Insurance.
