Academy Bus is seeking a
Staff Accountant
at our corporate office in
Hoboken, NJ.
This is a full-time position, in office Monday-Friday. We have free private on-site parking.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :Prepare and post general journal entries for monthly closingPerform monthly bank reconciliationsMaintain, analyze and reconcile intercompany accounts and certain general ledger accounts e.g. accrued expenses, prepaid expenses and accounts receivableUpdate account analysis schedules on monthly basisPrepare internal monthly income statements and detailed analysis of profit and loss- actuals to budget and prior period performance.Provide comprehensive explanations of financial resultsPrepare special reports as neededResponsible for ensuring that financial transactions are recorded accurately and timelyCollaborate with team members for interim and year-end auditQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeMinimum of Three to Five years' experience in accountingStrong organizational and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyHealth Insurance and Benefits Offered Include:
