Senior Analyst, Alternatives Data Management

Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Data Solutions Analyst to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives in and around the firm's core data platforms. This role will analyze business requirements, and engage with stakeholders across various Technology, Operations and Investment teams to ensure successful implementation of several strategic data initiatives, ongoing BAU enhancements, and critical production updates. The role will have a primary focus in the Alternatives, Private Equity, Private Credit and other private markets space.

Responsibilities:

Provide oversight and leadership to periodic data reporting solutions including oversight of offshore resources dedicated to the quality and delivery of data.

Be a business partner - work across Technology, Operations and closely with Business Stakeholders to understand processes and utilization of data within the firm.

Develop and ensure existing procedures and standards are adhered to and work with stakeholders to create new processes and models where they don’t exist.

Lead the analysis of requirements and collaborate with team members to attain high reusability and maintainability by building flexible data models and seamless integration points.

Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Seamlessly partner with Application Service Delivery group, who have accountability for Delivery & Service Management

Facilitate project management duties including stand ups, sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies (such as stand ups, etc)

Ability to put together mockups, training materials

Facilitate testing to ensure requirements are implemented

Perform detailed data analysis looking at large sets of data to perform data quality and business impact analysis

Build out technical workflow diagrams to assist in the design and implementation of best practice data management controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

BS or BA Degree and 5+ years’ industry experience working in a fast-paced environment

Deep understanding of the Alternatives business preferred.

Strong background in Data Analysis and Analytics and ability to master large sets of data.

Foundational experience playing a contributing role in full cycle software delivery as a business analyst or developer

Experience with project delivery of complex enterprise application systems, distributed applications, web applications, or system integration solutions is preferred

Knowledge of systems that support the deal lifecycle preferred such as Aladdin, Salesforce, Everest.

Working understanding of Agile methodology and framework

Knowledge of coordinating end-to-end user acceptance testing is required

Ability to liaise with Front office, IT, Operation and Compliance teams

Strong sense of professional pride and individual accountability

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $60,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
