Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this PositionJob DescriptionGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Deputy Program Manager, Engineering within the Scottsdale-based Land and Air Systems Engineering team. This position provides an opportunity to design and build uniquely resilient hardware and software to ensure mission success in contested environments. The successful candidate will lead a multi-discipline team focused on tactical communications that span many Department of Defense customers, including special restricted customers. Clearance RequirementActive DoD Secret clearance is desired, or required within 12 months after hireTarget salary range: USD $173,321.00/Yr. - USD $192,278.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
