The Network offers a portfolio of solutions that enable buyers and suppliers to collaborate across direct, indirect, services procurement, supply chain, logistics, and asset management.As a Supplier Sales Executive, you will engage with suppliers on SAP’s Business Network, focusing on new supplier-centric offerings, including Promote, a subscription service designed to enhance suppliers’ discoverability and business growth. Your role will involve handling escalated inquiries, supporting adoption and renewal, and facilitating the implementation of these offerings.Additionally, you will identify and route opportunities for suppliers to explore SAP’s broader offerings, including Business Network Enterprise and SAP’s suite of ERP solutions.Key Responsibilities:Escalated Deal Desk Support: Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers with complex or escalated inquiries, providing in-depth guidance on SAP’s offerings and working to resolve issues and collaborate with 3rd parties as required. Ensure escalated opportunities are managed efficiently and brought to closure.Proactive Sales Mindset: Actively pursue and qualify new sales opportunities through a mix of inbound inquiries and targeted outbound outreach. Focus on driving supplier engagement, and guiding prospects through the sales process to successful closure.Quota Achievement: Take ownership of achieving and exceeding specific monthly and quarterly sales targets. Ensure consistent performance by driving subscription adoption and renewal, and meeting revenue goals in alignment with the defined quota.Implementation Assistance: Assist suppliers in implementing new offerings, such as Promote, by providing guidance on verified status, enhanced catalog management, and lead generation tools.CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date records of supplier interactions, ensuring accurate data in the CRM system.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Marketplace Growth, Marketing, Support and Discovery to drive supplier engagement, supporting the strategy to convert suppliers into subscribers.Channel Optimization: Utilize multiple channels (email, in-app notifications and chat, social media) to maximize supplier engagement and support marketing campaigns.Supplier Insights & Reporting: Track supplier engagement and provide insights to stakeholders on current strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement.Best Practices & Process Improvements: Develop and share best practices for supplier engagement to improve solution adoption and optimize supplier experience.Requirements:3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying inside sales, business development, deal desk support, or similar role within a SaaS or technology environment.Self-motivated and proactive, with a customer-centric approach to sales and support.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex offerings clearly.Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset, with the ability to gather actionable insights and adapt strategies both at the individual supplier level and across broader initiatives.Exposure to CRM and sales support tools.Bachelor’s degree required.Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working for a large global enterprise software provider.Experience working within an ERP software environment or with networks or marketplaces.Experience with digital adoption strategies, digital marketing or demand generation.Experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams across a global organization.Proficient in two or more languages.Bring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
