The Payload and Ground Systems, a division within Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector, is seeking a dedicated Configuration Management and Data Management (CM-DM) Analyst to assist Engineering with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System support across the Aurora campus for a set of challenging and rewarding programs.

Role and Responsibilities:

Own the technical areas of expertise including data management and configuration management for both software and hardware products.

Mentoring & career development, including training; ensuring and monitoring quality of work products; support of proposal activities; thought leadership; and execution of a strategic vision for the CM-DM functions.

Collaboration with the team in the review and analysis of released engineering change data, coordinating changes with engineering, quality, mission assurance, and engineering data control activities.

Review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of the project and apply knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Assist with the development of configuration documentation.

Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities.

Process change packages through lifecycle including disposition & documentation/hardware implementation.

Support internal program CM-DM audits against program SOW & company processes and procedures.

Document management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documents and provide reporting and metrics to Management and Mission Assurance.

Establish and maintain product baselines.

Support Test Readiness Reviews and CDRL releases and deliveries.

Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.

Perform configuration identification, change control, auditing, and reporting, and the receiving and delivery of developed software products, including COTS and GOTS software.

Ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships and trust with internal team members.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Configuration and Data Management Analyst:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a current TS clearance at the time of application, with the ability to get and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.

Ability to perform and complete tasks with little to no direction.

Demonstrated knowledge of CM principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

Experience working in a configuration management product life cycle system (i.e., Agile PLM, TeamCenter, CMPro, MPLM, etc.).

Experience working within defined engineering & development processes.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's degree; 3 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Ability to perform and complete tasks with little to no direction.

Demonstrated knowledge of CM principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

Experience working in a configuration management product life cycle system (i.e., Agile PLM, TeamCenter, CMPro, MPLM, etc.).

Experience working within defined engineering & development processes.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics.

Experience with implementing CM in an enterprise-wide approach.

Experience with Agile development.

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite.

Experience with SW release and Build process.

Ability to adjust to changing priorities and requirements.

Ability to analyze/audit software products and documentation handoff from the developers.

Experience working in an ERP or MRP tool (i.e., Oracle, SAP, etc.).

Salary Range:

$84,600 - $127,000

Salary Range 2:

$104,900 - $157,300
