Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Principal Configuration Data Management Analysts for the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division Engineering and Manufacturing team. This role will be in Roy, UT and will provide enabling support for all business areas within the SDS portfolio. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.What You'll Get To DoThis role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) Leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines. These tasks include (but are not limited to):Support CM and DM Governance and Planning activities.Support the development and maintenance of Configuration Management and Data Management tools.Administer change processes and ensuring changes are documented in accordance with program requirements.Control technical baselines and coordinate the development and maintenance of the systems, tools, and environments they are stored in.Generate reports that provide the status of Configured items, and the maturity of technical baselines.Administer Data management Sub-Contractor data ingest and USG contract transmittal activities.Administer Configuration audit activities for both internal and external stakeholders.Be responsible for ensuring program data has been approved, distributed, and managed appropriately in accordance with company, sector, and program approved processes.Administer Data Management principles on CDRL and SDRL information within SharePoint, Teamcenter, and other tooling to ensure data integrity through audit processes.Possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate with the prime customer and supplier personnel, to support submittals and delivery activities.Knowledge, Skills, and Ability - Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.Problem Solving - Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You'll Bring These QualificationsMust have 6 years with a Bachelor's degree; 4 years with a Master's degree; or 10 years of experience may be considered in lieu of educationMust have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearanceMust be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain special program access (SAP)Must have at least 2 years' experience with PLM or MRP systems and applicable Configuration Management experienceThese Qualifications Would be Nice to HaveExperience with Siemens Teamcenter, CPLM, or other PLM System, Siemens NX, JIRA, SharePoint design and access controls, SAPExperience with ICBM Weapon SystemsKnowledge of Configuration management practices EIA-649-1, or MIL-HDBK-61. Prior experience with any of the following. Conducting configuration audits. Performing change management and administering change boards. Controlling technical baselines and tracking configuration statusKnowledge of Data management practices GEIA-859. Prior experience developing Data Management products (i.e., Data Accession Lists (DAL), metrics, Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) schedules or Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) schedulesActive Top-Secret ClearanceExperience with document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, dispositioning, and other DoD related contentKnowledge and experience of both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processesSalary Range:
