Our sales team is trained across all of our products to give our customers insights into our entire portfolio.Process Integration Engineering InternJob Description:Process Integration Engineering Intern responsible for sustaining existing Si diode processes and developing new processes in the wafer fab located in Lowell, MA. Specific responsibilities include supporting the following: sustaining manufacturing processes to meet all factory indicators; planning and conducting experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle; driving improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomics over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel. The successful candidate develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.During the 12 weeks each Intern will:Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals.Gain hands-on experience.Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision.Be invited to attend an intern webinar series.Attend networking/social events.Attend and present at a Poster Session about each Intern's project successes and pitfalls.Receive formal, written feedback.Job Qualifications:Student pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.Familiarity with semiconductor devices and fabrication techniques.Must be capable of solving technical problems, project ownership, meeting deadlines, and multitasking.Must display a strong sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to the improvement of the process area.The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes.Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing process and equipment specifications, and work instructions.Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.EEO:MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
