Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems. Preference will be given to assistant professors with experience and associate professors working in research areas and initiatives that address the grand challenges of our times, including artificial intelligence, algorithmic bias, the spread and mitigation of false information online, and sustainability.The rank and tenure status are dependent on the candidate’s qualifications. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and a track record (commensurate with experience) of high-impact and creative research. Successful applicants will be expected to continue to conduct impactful and inspirational research, deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate, MBA, MS, and PhD students, and participate in service activities for the department, school, and/or university.Education:A Ph.D. and an established record of research excellence commensurate with experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Applicants are also expected to provide evidence of excellent teaching skills, including the ability to incorporate the latest insights from research and practice into existing and new courses.Application Process and Deadlines:Please visit
