Infrastructure SpecialistKAI Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Infrastructure Specialist. This role is responsible for evaluating and optimizing technological infrastructure and configuring network devices such as routers and switches while performing regular maintenance to ensure efficiency. Providing technical support, assisting in LAN/WAN system design, and managing network installations and upgrades with minimal disruption along with monitoring network performance and maintaining detailed documentation of configurations and incident resolutions.Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Evaluate technological infrastructure systems to identify areas for improvement or optimization.Configure network devices, including routers, switches, ASA appliances, and load balancers, according to standards and requirements.Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of technological infrastructure.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related issues promptly.Assist in the design of LAN/WAN systems to meet business needs and future growth requirements.Participate in the installation of new network equipment and infrastructure components as per established guidelines.Conduct comprehensive testing of network configurations and systems to ensure optimal performance and security.Monitor network traffic and performance metrics to identify potential issues and proactively address them.Plan and execute network and data center hardware/software upgrades in coordination with the CTO and relevant stakeholders.Ensure minimal disruption to operations during upgrade activities through proper planning and implementation.Administer and manage routers, switches, ASA appliances, and load balancers, including configuration changes, access control, and firmware upgrades.Maintain documentation related to network configurations, changes, and incident resolution for reference and audit purposes.Perform other related duties, as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, preferably in a large-scale environment.Strong understanding of network protocols, technologies, and security principles.Proficiency in network hardware/software configuration and management, including Cisco routers, switches, ASA appliances, and load balancers.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Work/Education Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. (Mandatory)4+ years of experience in related experience (Mandatory)Compensation Range:
$70,000 – $90,000The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range.
