In this role you will provide engineering design support for the migration of Network Operations Center data to the Navy Flank Speed Cloud Mission Owner Environment. The candidate will work with a Cloud Administrator and Senior Cloud Systems Engineer, both of which will have general knowledge of Microsoft Azure. Your role is to be the SME and hands-on Azure administrator.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdvise on best practices for the implementation of Cloud components, tools, dashboards, and automation.Manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other Azure resources.Configure and monitor Azure security features such as firewalls, network security groups, and Azure Active Directory.Acts as the SME for Azure services configuration.Work with development teams to ensure proper application deployment and scaling in Azure.Work with a team of SMEs to develop architecture and design drawings.Interact with external partners and agencies to engineer interconnections between different enclaves.Assist other SMEs in the preparation of Installation guides for an enterprise environment.Required SkillsMust possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M.Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M.Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or significant experience in lieu of, with the ability to obtain within first 60 days of employment.IT experience (8 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in the job description.Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement and manage storage, deploy, and manage virtual machines, PaaS services, configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities.Experience creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides.Experience working with Navy customers preferred.What Ardalyst Offers You?The chance to work with experienced technology entrepreneurs and world-class cyber operations experts who have successfully grown companies before.Plenty of opportunities to learn as well as apply your talents and previous experience.DisclaimerArdalyst Defense, LLC is an EOE that empowers employees, no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic—to meet and exceed customer expectations and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.Posted:
