Ardalyst personnel have decades of direct operations experience in full-scope Cyberspace Operations - at the Service, Joint and National Agency levels.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Windows System Engineer to support the Navy in Pensacola, FL or Norfolk, VA. In this role you will provide engineering design support for the migration of Network Operations Center data to the Navy Flank Speed Cloud Mission Owner Environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage Windows-based systems on Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.Implement and configure Windows Server environments, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, CRL and Group Policy.Deploy and manage Microsoft Exchange Servers for email and collaboration services in Azure environments, and to perform email forwarding for disconnected external systems.Configure and manage identity and access management solutions, including Azure Active Directory (AAD) and integration with on-premises Active Directory.Implement and manage Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) for identity lifecycle management, synchronization, and single sign-on capabilities.Implement and manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for centralized management of Windows devices and applications.Develop automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, or Azure Automation.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and availability of Windows systems on Azure.Work with a team of SMEs to develop architecture and design drawings for migration effort.Interact with external partners and agencies to engineer interconnections between different enclaves.Assist other SMEs in the preparation of installation guides for an enterprise environment.Required SkillsMust possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M.Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M.Must have or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.IT experience (8 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in the job description.Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing Windows-based systems, preferably in cloud environments.Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server operating systems.Security ClearanceMust possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.What Ardalyst Offers You?Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Paid Time Off (PTO).Paid Holidays.401(k) Retirement Plan.Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance.Short Term and Long-Term Disability insurance.Monetary assistance with training and certifications.DisclaimerArdalyst Defense, LLC is an EOE that empowers employees, no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic—to meet and exceed customer expectations and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.Posted:
