Whether you are a teacher, an administrator, or a potential support staff employee, if you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummaryThe Admin Enterprise Systems I position will be responsible for daily operations, maintenance, configuration updates, support and training for specific systems. They will work with vendors and/or level II/III technical staff to review and apply updates to the systems under their control. They will create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles. Where required, they will deliver training to end users surrounding the supported solutions. They will assist with the development, review and enforcement of policies and procedures. They will work closely with the systems engineers both in the System Support Group and Infrastructure Support Group to ensure systems and solutions align to district network and operating system standards. They will be responsible for completing continuing education modules/programs as assigned.What you will doPerforms daily system checks, maintenance and management procedures. Maintain premises-based and cloud tenant resources for centrally managed applications and systems on both physical and virtual platforms.Coordinates with other technology services sections to ensure availability and reliability of systems to meet corporate objectives.Provides tier 2 technical support to tier 1 field support staff and end-users as needed, where it relates to enterprise systems and applications.Assists in the enforcement of policies, procedures and associated training plans for systems administration and their appropriate use.Supports the implementation and upgrade of systems where required.Ensures security standards are applied and followed as it relates to information interchange/file security, server/application hardening, and account management.Participates in key process improvements for select computing environments throughout the organization, that interoperate with centrally managed resources.Processes support requests daily within required service level agreements. Escalates issues to management where necessary. Handles daily interactions with tier 1 support and end users related to system operations and basic training elements.Additional RequirementsMay be required to work with centrally managed, digital audio systems that include emergency call integrations and digital paging via SIP.May be required to develop process documents, training documents, deliver in person training, support, and/or manage a digital signage system over a wide area network.May be required to design, troubleshoot, and/or install 25v, 70v and 100v public address audio systems with components of varying impedance types and networked adapter integrations.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field PreferredExperience Qualifications1-3 years Experience working with Storage Area Networks, server hardware upgrades and repair PreferredSkills and AbilitiesKnowledge of network protocols and configuration for IPv4 data network operations, including a clear understanding of addressing and subnetting and troubleshooting connectivity issues. $68,976.66Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
