You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York.Work Shift:Job Description:This position is responsible for ensuring production servers and services are specified, built, tested, and deployed as necessary to support the efficient IT operations of Gorbel Inc., Engineered Lifting Systems & Equipment, Inc., and Ravenwood Golf Club. Monitor all systems and services and take action to ensure optimum performance and reliability. Maintain a comprehensive Life Cycle Plan for IT assigned systems and services. Participate in the annual IT budget process. Research and implement hardware and software upgrades and/or changes to achieve maximum user productivity and uptime. Analyze user needs, as well as business and technology requirements, and implement appropriate, approved upgrades in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop, implement, and maintain systems in support of company business development efforts and IT department plans while maintaining the current security landscape. Perform periodic evaluation, maintenance, and back-ups to achieve the desired reliability, performance, and recovery points. Assist with the assignment, training and monitoring of work for junior level staff as required to achieve results.RESPONSIBILITIES:Microsoft network servicesO365 ManagementNextGen Firewall AdministrationAdvanced Layer 3 Routing (OSPF, BGP, VPN)Storage Area Network infrastructureDisaster Recovery planning and testingSystem performance tuningPatch ManagementRemote Administration of serversSecurity of all networked systemsSecurity of all networked company dataServer and service upgrades to improve productivity and reliabilityThoroughly test new solutions/changes in test environment prior implementingCommunicating changes to all affected partiesAssist with guidance and validation of the work of Tier 1 and Tier 2 to ensure new systems and services are properly built and testedMaintain Life Cycle Plan for systems and servicesParticipate in annual budget processServe as a resource to IT as well as other departments for technical issuesServe as a back-up for other system and network duties as neededAssist users and departments in effectively leveraging our production software toolsCreate, publish and maintain standard procedures for common administrative and support activitiesMaintain support contracts for all servers and services as delegatedAdhere to suitable administrative practices and methodologyMaintain sufficient system documentationResearch and propose new technology and existing technology enhancementsAdhere to defined project timelines and budgetsParticipate in various IT department projects and company team as requiredREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associates degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related degree5+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment with ~200+ users5+ years of experience with Microsoft services including but not limited to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure Cloud Services, Office 365, MS Teams/Telephony, Windows 10, 115+ years of experience with Virtual Server and Desktop environments VMWare, Windows, On Premise and Cloud5+ years of experience with network design, hardware specification, configuration, and implementation5+ years of experience with maintaining/supporting enterprise security initiativesExperience with RPA, Systems Automation Tools and PlatformsExperience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomateAbility to meet tight deadlines with high quality requirementsAbility to analyze complex requirements and develop technological solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDetail orientedTeam playerCreative and Critical ThinkerSelf-MotivatedBENEFITS:
