Software Developer needed on a

high-performing team

supporting an MDA program. Candidate will work collaboratively with a team of fast-paced engineers to prototype and implement physics-based models in large high-fidelity simulations. Candidate will also be responsible for exploring and testing algorithms and analyzing/identifying the resulting performance trends and shortfalls. Candidate should possess a solid working knowledge and experience in software development of weapon or sensor systems.Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or MathematicsMS or PhD desired3-10 years’ experience implementing complex models and algorithms to support engineering and scientific researchProficiency with C or C++Proficiency with Linux, Linux command line, Linux shell scriptingFamiliarity with EO/IR and/or RF sensor systemsStrong communication and teamwork skillsQuick learner, able to multi-task, flexible and responsive to changing priorities/taskingActive Security Clearance required / Top Secret desiredPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with BMDSFamiliarity with EO/IR detection, image processing, tracking, and discriminationProficiency in MATLAB or PythonExperience with the fusion of EO/IR and RFFamiliarity with 6-DOF simulations and/or Kill Vehicle operationsExperience with machine learning and artificial intelligenceKeywords:Algorithm developmentDiscriminationSoftware developmentSoftware engineeringSimulation developmentPhysics-based modelingData analysisEstimationArtificial intelligenceMachine learningPlease Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.
