We are an engaging and dynamic place to work and we hope to find an individual who is passionate about the Arts and excited to help support our students, faculty, and staff.Job Description:Building monitors help to ensure the safety of our students who often work in the studios and labs after business hours. Monitors sit at the front desk of the Art Building and check Lobo ID cards to grant access into the building after hours and on weekends. Throughout the evening, monitors will complete rounds to check on the status of the building. Monitors are expected to call Campus Police or Security to handle any issues that may occur during their shift.Schedule:The current monitored hours schedule is as follows: Monday- Friday 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm and Sat/Sun 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Shifts will be divided among the hired candidates.Minimum Qualifications:Only those with a work study award will be considered.Professionalism and dependability are a must for this position.Reliable transportation.Prior customer service experience is desired.Required to work evenings and weekends.Required to work during Spring/Fall breaks (labs are open for students to work).Application Instructions:Only applications submitted through the official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
