Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) is a self-funded auxiliary department of The University of New Mexico that functions under Institutional Support Services. Our responsibility, encompassed in our mission, is to support the University's education, research, and service missions by providing access to key programs for faculty, staff, students, and visitors through a variety of transportation services that consider the needs of each customer. This responsibility includes managing approximately 15,900 parking spaces, facilitating the movement of 1.7 million passengers annually from nearby parking lots onto campus and around campus, and providing a full range of transportation choices through the provision of the alternative transportation programs.Position Overview:We are seeking a responsive and collaborative professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a key team member with strong organizational, scheduling, and time management skills. This position will be expected to collect, evaluate, and prepare research and/or other complex statistical data, prepare statistical and narrative reports and recommendations, participate in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate, and develop, maintain, and ensure quality control of databases. The candidate may assist in the development and implementation of measurement systems.Daily Duties:Assist in maintaining accurate records and databases, both established and created.Enter and manage data related to permit sales and schedules.Track, assist, and monitor annual processes related to parking services.Provide oversight for parking-related projects and permit inventory.Collaborate with PATS team members to meet departmental timelines and maintain consistency.Deliver exceptional customer service to PATS customers and the broader university community.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications:Expertise in proof-reading.Previous experience with uploading information, filtering, reporting.Ability to analyze information correctly.Ability to recognize report errors.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work within a diverse management environment.Ability to perform duties with a high level of confidentiality.Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to prepare research reports and proposals.Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.Ability to utilize statistical computer software.Proficient in Microsoft Suite and expertise in Excel.Experience with billing systems.Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.Knowledge of research methodology, principles, and procedures.Additional Requirements:Campus:Department:Employment Type:
