RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESAdministering, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining operating system and related softwareEstablishing and implementing standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parametersTroubleshooting and resolving software, operating system, and networking problemsScheduling and monitoring system backups and, when necessary, performing data recoveriesInstallation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentationMaintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection servicesTraining staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applicationsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSDoD 8570 IAT II or higher certificationBachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems7 years professional experience in systems administrationActive Secret security clearanceProficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and WordResponsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:Attending mandatory, annual training sessionsProviding regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendationsCollaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordinationAttending recurring team meetings or huddlesAssisting in the development of new initiatives*Contingent upon award*
