is looking for a Constructive Database Lead (Database Manager).
Background:
Position Summary:
This is a Constructive Database Lead (Database Manager) position at the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (associated discipline) / 5 yrs. experience leading projects or programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
5 yrs. experience with simulation and stimulation DBs.
5 yrs. experience providing functional and technical SME support to MCIS requirements and scenario.
Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies for data storage and long-term data preservation.
Knowledge and understanding of design methods and guidelines to ensure proper extraction and insertion of data.
Experience managing, modifying, and maintaining DBs in support of military training simulation.
Experience creating new DBs and leading a DB team in support of military training simulations using best practices.
Experience ensuring integrity of data for military training simulations by implementing proper DB design and enforcing data restrictions.
SECRET Clearance.
Support Hours:
The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
Place of Performance:
The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies.
Travel:
The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
