Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to fill the Utilities Accommodations Engineer vacancy located in Vancouver, WA. This position will work with the public utility companies to ensure they are complying with the Utilities Accommodations Policy. In this role, you will serve as the point of contact for Area Engineering offices (Chehalis, Kelso, Columbia Gorge, and Clark County), ensuring they have all available utility information needed for the design of region projects and ensure they are in contact with the appropriate utility company personnel that will be affected by the projects. The Utilities Accommodations Engineer will also coordinate with the HQ Rail and Utilities Offices, and the statewide region offices to work together to keep a statewide approach to the accommodation process.
