Apogee is known for an unwavering dedication to our client's success, a warm and employee-centric work environment, and an enthusiasm to provide the right solution at the right time.What you will be doing:Support Oracle Database software installation, configuration, patching, and upgradesProvide Oracle Database creation and operational resource managementProvide Oracle Database backup and recoveryEnsure security management and STIG complianceSupport user account and privilege managementSupport application release installationProvide storage managementAssist with troubleshooting24/7 database operations monitoring, proactive and reactive corrective actions (rotation)Support Low-to-High data transferSupport Oracle Database refresh to development and testMiscellaneous tasks and action requestsWhat you will need to have:Citizenship:
Must be a US CitizenClearance:
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and maintain it.Certifications:Certified Oracle Database Administrator (OCA/OCP)Security+ CE certificate (IAT II certification)Education:
High School DiplomaYears of Experience:
Five (5) years of directly related experience as an Oracle DBASkills (majority of the following):Oracle Database Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)Oracle NetOracle Net Native EncryptionOracle Net SSL/TLS EncryptionOracle Data Guard Physical StandbyOracle Data PumpOracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)Oracle Database AuditingOracle Data DictionarySQLPL/SQLRed Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and aboveOracle Enterprise Linux 7 and aboveSecurity Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for Oracle DatabaseAmazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computingPreferred Experience:Clearance:

10 years experience as an Oracle DBABenefits & Compensation:Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.The base pay for this position is
$120,000 to $165,000
across the U.S. There is also a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
