About this internship:
We are seeking a highly motivated
IT Intern
to join our team and gain practical experience in the world of information technology. As an IT Intern, you will work closely with our IT professionals to support various technical tasks and projects. You will have the opportunity to learn about key aspects of IT, including network troubleshooting, system administration, cybersecurity, and user support. This IT Internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning in a dynamic technology environment. Responsibilities
will depend on the team you are assigned to and may include but are not limited to:
Assist with troubleshooting network, hardware, and software issues
Provide technical support to colleagues for Windows operating systems, Office 365, and other applications
Support system administration tasks, including user account management and endpoint management
Help maintain cybersecurity protocols, including monitoring and mitigating risks related to firewalls, VPNs, and identity access management
Assist in setting up workstations and managing device inventories
Support IT projects related to system upgrades, cloud services, and infrastructure improvements
Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Research new technology trends and provide insights to enhance IT services
Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
Troubleshoot printers and video conference equipment
Experience & Qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
0-1 years of internship experience in IT preferred but not required
Familiarity with Windows operating systems (up to Windows 11) and Office 365
Basic understanding of network concepts (e.g., routers, switches, VPN)
Experience with Microsoft Intune or other device management platforms is a plus
Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and identity access management is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines
