The Contractor shall develop and implement solutions to meet technical specifications and standards.The Contractor shall gather and analyze user or client requirements to determine system objectives and constraints.The Contractor shall identify and troubleshoot any issues or inefficiencies during the testing phase.The Contractor shall pursue different technologies as directed by the Sponsor.The Contractor shall document design plans, technical specifications, user manuals, and system configurations.The Contractor shall identify potential risks or vulnerabilities within the system and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.The Contractor shall collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Systems Engineer role in the IC.Required Skills/Abilities
U.S. CitizenTS/SCI with polygraphDemonstrated experience developing detailed design and associated deliverables.Demonstrated experience translating customer and system requirements into design.Demonstrated experience designing system interfaces.Demonstrated experience with networking fundamentals, operations, and maintenance.Demonstrated experience with Security Control Frameworks.Demonstrated experience with using NIST standards.Desired Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated experience developing accessibility standards.Demonstrated recent experience with the Sponsor's suite of applications providing repository and search services that enables the Sponsor to find the information they need.Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.About Orbis Operations
