Asset & Wealth Management Engineering
Across Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. Our consumer business provides digital solutions for customers to better spend, borrow, invest, and save. Across Wealth Management, our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and customers, and leading-edge technology, data and design.
PWM CRM, Prospecting & Workflow Engineering team builds exciting solutions that are integral to various functions that Sales teams perform front-to-back. Functions span across Prospecting, Client Relationship Management and building strategic workflows that span across different systems and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and support software applications using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, and other related technologies.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality software development.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
Work collaboratively with other engineers to continuously improve development practices, standards, and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in Java/J2EE development and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Experience with distributed computing and web services (RESTful, SOAP).
Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and SQL.
Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Experience with Salesforce platform is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in the financial industry is a plus.
