CNC Lathe Programmer/Setup Lead

UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) is currently seeking a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setup Lead to join our team! This position will be responsible for programming 2-axis and multi-axis Doosan Lathes using Fusion 360 or Mastercam software. This position will also be responsible for machine setup of Doosan Lynx LYC and LSYB multi-axis turning centers. Once set up, this individual will work with other team members to show them how to properly operate the machine and perform quality inspection.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a lead member of our Lathe Department. Duties include:
Independently program and setup 2-axis and multi-axis CNC lathe machinesWork with the Quality Control department to produce in-process inspection documentsPerform 1st article inspection of parts coming off new setup, teach operators how to inspectComplete understanding of how to read blueprints, along with geometric tolerancesSetup and operate automated bar feeder systemsKnowledge of cutting tools, along with feeds and speedsMaintenance knowledge and abilities helpful, for Doosan and Haas equipmentWhat skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in programming CNC Lathe machinesMust be proficient in programming using Fusion 360 or Mastercam softwareBasic PC knowledge required (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)Must be able to work in a physical capacity, lifting and moving heavy objectsHigh school diploma required, college or trade school degree beneficial, but not requiredMechanical inspection, using bench top tooling, CMM helpfulMust have reliable source of transportation to arrive at workMust be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
