Business Applications Analyst I
specializes in understanding the needs of the various clinical and operational departments in order to translate them into technical and software system specifications and solutions. This role is responsible for application systems analysis, implementation, maintenance, minor development, and support for all assigned business applications. The

must apply a disciplined approach to utilizing technology in improving organization performance. This role will require the ability to support applications including, but not limited to, client CRM, EHR, productivity, and financial applications. This position works closely with both internal and external customers.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Gather, evaluate and document functional and non-functional requirements based on business goalsProduce workflow designs and participate in meetings on new process adoptionTakes personal ownership of issues, ensures a high degree of accuracy with all deliverables, demonstrates above-average service recovery, and communicates with customers in a consistent mannerShows a creative approach to problem diagnosis and troubleshootingParticipates in projects requiring integration of new or modified system/processes into the work environmentEngage in discussions related to the development of training content for usersProvides application assistance and consultation within assigned product areaParticipate in the functional testing and assist with user acceptance testingProvides support to internal customers during system upgradeConducts training and orientation for new and existing staff needing application supportWork closely with internal clinical and operational departments to maintain open lines of communication and system optimizationCollaborates with vendors and network engineering to identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring incidentsParticipates with business application system updates and communicates outcomes with ManagementPerforms other assigned duties and special projects on an as-needed basisSupervisory Responsibilities

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS or related field preferredRelevant experience will be considered in lieu of degreeAt least 3+ years of experience in the technical field or healthcare fieldKnowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
Strong written and communication skillsStrong initiative skillsStrong analytical and data management skillsMust be detail-oriented, possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, organization skills and a spirit with a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to complete projects accurately and timely.Must also be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and abide by specific deadlinesPhysical Requirements
This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
