We seek an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) who is immediately available and will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment.As a contributor to efforts of the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab in the G-6 Directorate, you will be asked to provide these Scientific and Technical Deliverables by performing Research, Development, Tests, and Evaluation to identify future challenges and opportunities, develop warfighting concepts and comprehensively explore options to inform the combat development process and meet the challenges of future operating environments. These efforts will enhance the ability of the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab Futures Directorate to plan, support, integrate, execute, and report live force experiments. This effort may touch on DoD critical technology areas such as trust artificial intelligence and autonomy.Location:This position is located onsite in Quantico, VAResponsibilities:Review and evaluate System Security Plans, System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAAs), system and network diagrams, Security Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), Risk Assessments, and associated Information System Certification and Accreditation documents per the DoD, Intelligence Community, and National and Agency standards.Observe, evaluate, and document Information System security certification testing and prepare Security certification Test Reports with findings and recommendations regarding systems.Approvals to Operate.Inspect systems, networks, and sites for compliance with InfoSec standards and policies.Produce periodic progress reports.Required Qualifications:DoD 8570.01-m IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)A MINIMUM of five years of position-specific relevant experience.Experience or certifications associated with Risk Management Framework (RMF).Knowledge of DoD, IC, and National Security Policies, Regulations, Directives, and Instructions.Security Clearance:Clearance: TS/SCI; there may be flexibility for SECRET on a case-by-case basis.Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science Degree in IT.5-12 years of experience in an IT-related field; relies on this experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Preferred Additional Skills:Master’s Degree in an IT-related field.Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
