Job Description
Durden Banking Company, Inc. is hiring a Deposit Operations Specialist that desires to join a high energy, growing community bank that is committed to the highest level of customer service.
The employee is responsible for daily activities in the deposit operations department to ensure the timely and accurate processing of data.
Responsibilities
Responsible for daily activities in the deposit operations department to ensure the timely and accurate processing of data.
Perform a variety of duties in support of the Deposit Operations department, which may include but are not limited to: proof, image processing, escheatment, rejected or non-post items, wires, stop payments, holds, overdrafts, ACH, transit adjustments, branch settlement, levies, subpoenas, certifications, etc.
Manage electronic banking services: internet banking, bill pay, and mobile banking.
Process debit card disputes.
Respond to customer inquiries.
Conduct research on accounts.
Reconcile accounts and provide statement assistance.
Ensure required information adheres to compliance standards.
Prepare records and reports.
Backup or assist Deposit Operations staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by CFO.
Required Experience, Skills, and Training
Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively in dealing with customers, vendors, and employees.
Knowledge of bank products, services, and policies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Successful completion of online training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank.
Knowledge of and compliance with Bank Secrecy Act Laws and regulations.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in Deposit Operations is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
May need to stand for long periods of time.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
