ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a
System Administrator/Network Engineer
to support a Test Control Center for a customer. The Test Control Center hosts a testing and engineering environment, with multiple test configuration baselines that mimics the operational National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG). This position performs a critical function to maintain a stable test Enterprise T&E environment, as well as providing timely response to configuration modification requests from test engineers during the testing process. Position responsibilities include IT support of workstations and the test infrastructure leading up to testing, during transitioning between test configurations, and during test windows. There are frequently several test configuration baselines operating concurrently in support of multiple test events. Continuous engagement is required with government and contractor individuals and teams.
The System Administrator/Network Engineer will be part of a team who are responsible to:
Perform installation, configuration, updates, and support of applications that are part of the internal support environment.
Systems administration and network support to the mission environment and servers.
Calibrate monitors for evaluation workstations in compliance with all applicable standards, guidelines and instructions.
Manage and maintain Outlook mail groups and security groups.
Create and manage Active Directory distribution and security groups.
Provide file system management services to include: file management support, and folder and file permissions/restrictions control.
Provide SharePoint support and administration for file management.
Support establishment, accreditation, maintenance, and support of T&E prototyping, test, staging, and production environments across different domains.
Provide management, maintenance, and administration of the test environment; create, track and maintain user accounts for the test environment.
QualificationsRequired Experience/Education:
Must have a minimum of a
Top Secret
clearance and willing to upgrade clearance to TS/SCI and sit for and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request - Contract requires TS/SCI with poly.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related Engineering or Mathematics field; high school diploma with 11-14 years of experience and certifications are also acceptable.
5-10 years of system administration of Windows and LINUX.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn, solve problems, and perform in a dynamic work environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with emphasis communicating issues and opportunities to government customers.
Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
