Embedded Software Test EngineerJob Description:Perform software testing tasks of a technical nature including but not limited to writing test procedures, testing of engineering products as well as working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering project team. Analyze and write test approaches and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.Nature of Duties:Responsible for planning, creation, and execution of software test casesPerform system integration, verification, and validation activitiesDocument test resultsWork closely with the development teams and contribute in every aspect of software lifecycleEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline required2 - 5 years’ software testing experience including testing in embedded software systemsSystem or network administrator experience preferredSkilled in writing test procedures in a requirements-driven process.Experience with military communication equipment is desiredExperience in at least a CMMI-DEV Maturity Level 3 organization is preferredCisco network experience including Call Manager preferredSanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
