Here, your work will directly contribute to accelerating the adoption of renewable energy and reshaping the power grid for a sustainable future.Major Job Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain the build and deployment pipeline for FlexGen's HybridOS softwareDevelop and manage AWS-based toolchains for testing and demo environmentsCreate and maintain Ansible playbooks for automating software deployment, configuration, and server migrationImplement and manage security scanning processes for code, artifacts, and serversCollaborate with development teams to streamline the software delivery processTroubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environmentsContinuously improve deployment processes, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and scalabilityParticipate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability of our systemsStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practicesThe technologies you may use in this role include:Operating systems: Enterprise Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOSContainerization: Proficiency in DockerCloud platforms: Experience with AWS services such as CodePipeline, Lambda, and EC2Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and KubernetesCI/CD pipelines: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processesVersion control: Proficiency in using Git for managing codebaseSecurity scanning tools: Experience with tools like SonarQube and Nessus for security testingScripting languages: Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and development tasksPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering rolesStrong background in Linux system administrationExpertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWSExperience with containerization technologies and orchestrationFamiliarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management toolsKnowledge of CI/CD principles and toolsUnderstanding of security best practices in software development and deploymentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
