Certified Scrum Master (CSM) w/ Salesforce exp:

Work Location: Owings Mills MD (This person will be expected to adhere to the hybrid model).

Responsibilities:

Schedule, facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Sprint Refinement, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Support and educate the Customer Product Owner, especially as it relates to maintaining the backlog and interacting with the team once the sprint has started.

Work closely with the Product Owner and scrum team to ensure the backlog is properly prioritized, stories are ready for the upcoming sprint, and sprint work is not interrupted with new or competing priorities once started.

Work closely with other stakeholders in both technology and business to influence and drive decision making across the scope of the project.

Ensure data is accurate and up to date; generate reports to measure performance of the team; analyze data to identify insights and trends; use data to drive decisions for the team and the broader program.

Resolve team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the scrum team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or combination of education and relevant experience.

7 years of experience in Project Management Role.

At least 2 years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for a team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory, while managing projects involved in the Salesforce application development, deployment and support of various Salesforce products and solutions.

10+ years of experience working in an IT related field.

Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Experience leading efforts to prepare life cycle documents, including Use Cases, Requirements, and System Design.

Ability to manage more than one scrum team at a time.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of Rally ALM software.

Salesforce certifications a plus.

Financial Services experience a plus.

Interview Process:

There will be two rounds of video interviews (45-60 mins).

Disqualifiers:

No demonstrated scrum master experience.

This person needs to be able to communicate, be organized, have great attention to detail, and sense of urgency when completing tasks. This person also needs to demonstrate the ability to lead and be optimistic, with a good attitude.

Note:

The Salesforce Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring that the delivery teams follow the scrum framework values and agile practices including mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments. The role requires a working knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform.
