The IT Applications team (also called Business Enablement) is a crucial driver of Digital transformation for Barco Business Sales, Service, Marketing, Manufacturing & Logistics, and Corporate functions. The business enablement group creates solutions across SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, ODS (Operational Data Store), and Azure technologies which empower our different business units.About the Role
As an MDM Functional Analyst, you will lead, design and implement a variety of requirements related to MDM objects of different platforms such as SAP and Salesforce in an agile environment. You will be responsible for transforming vital business needs into MDM processes and driving innovation. You will be part of the functional team responsible for SAP ECC migration towards S4HANA in the near future. This role will also involve doing required POCs, wherever needed, while designing/implementing any new requirement coming our way. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with Master data management.Key Responsibilities
Implement best-in-class processes in cooperation with external partners to support, maintain and develop the Master Data platform.Design and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization.Work on different data analytical reports for all the SAP and Salesforce domains.Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and conflicts and work with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date.Ensure, define, and govern consistent master data throughout the whole master data life cycle and global business processes.Identify areas for improvement regarding Global Material Master processes, tools, and rules and support improvement processes.Support change in MDM culture, responsible for fulfilling business strategies and needs.Requirements gathering, creating reports and workflows for data output views.Demonstrable experience in solving challenges for master data management, data quality problems, or complex data integrations.Integrate easily into a (virtual) team and work autonomously.About the Successful Candidate
The successful candidate is a self-motivated analyst who can deal with complex problems, has a vision to take the organization to the next level. He/She should be able to understand complex MDM requirements & integrations with different systems and should have excellent stakeholder management capabilities. Candidate must have a proven background and track record of learning new and adapting to ever-changing SAP & Salesforce platforms.Preferred Skills & Experience
BE/B.Tech in computer science or equivalent.4 - 10 years of experience in MDM, experience of different platforms SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, any SRM platform & integration between different platforms.Ability to understand ABAP code and have a basic understanding of debugging.Good knowledge of any coding language.Deep knowledge of Master Data fields and importance in business transactions.Experience in Data Management Processes (Data Profiling & Cleansing, workflow, Data Quality, Governance Processes), or functional knowledge in SAP MM/PP or SD modules will be an added advantage.Good knowledge of the Master Data Governance framework.Knowledge of Data Analytics tools such as Power BI, SAP BI is a plus.Good Knowledge of SAP tables and table joins using any query tool (SQVI), SQL.Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
