KBW Financial has partnered with a rapidly growing telecommunications client to identify an Interim Controller. The Interim Controller will be responsible overseeing and managing the daily accounting and financial reporting functions, reconcile and produce month end financial statements and assist with special projects. Our client is looking to interview and hire ASAP.

More information below, interested applicants please reach out to Garred Kelly at gkelly@kbwfinancial.com with an updated copy of your resume.Oversee large capital projectsMaintain internal controlsAnalyze and interpret financial results and ensure GAAP compliancePrepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reports for management and investors.Prepare month-end and year-end closings with associated journal entriesWork with management team to prepare annual budgets and forecastsManage, train and coach accounting personnelOversee and participate in payroll functions, A/P, and A/R when necessaryEnsure proper tax records are maintained including sales and use taxes, property taxesMaintain fixed assetsManage accruals, account and bank reconciliationsManage and review contracts for insurance, customers and vendorsPrepare for and assist with annual audit

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, public accounting experience preferred, CPA or MBA a plus5+ years accounting and finance experience with experience being in a leadership position within accounting or finance3+ years Supervisory experienceDemonstrated competency in accounting principles; Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRSAdvanced working knowledge of systems and ExcelExcellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solvingStrong financial analysis skills, excellent use of logicDemonstrated success in developing and managing processes

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 hr. B.O.E.
