This position is based in Clemmons, NC.Position Overview:

The Indirect Commodity Manager for Hayward Holdings will execute indirect strategic sourcing decisions for multiple manufacturing locations to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership This position will manage the sourcing and procurement scope of indirect commodities related to operations subcontracting, engineering services, consumables, temporary labor services, travel, office supplies, capital equipment, tooling, MRO, construction, site services, and Vendor Manager Inventories for consumable used in manufacturing operation.Responsibilities:Manage the procurement process, and contract development for indirect categories.Define the global sourcing strategy for indirect spend across multiple categories and multiple Hayward locations.Owns cost savings, total cost of ownership, and continuous improvement for indirect categories.Conduct negotiations and establish contracts and service level agreement for regional suppliers and monitor contract compliance.Manage and consolidate the current supply base to leverage spend focusing on annual cost savings and payment term extensions.Support and actively participate in continuous improvement / cost reduction opportunities with suppliers whenever appropriate.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business administration or engineering required with an MBA preferred.Experience working in a centralized procurement organization servicing multiple businesses and multiple facilities, preferably in manufacturing.Experience, knowledge, and competency in indirect materials for manufacturing companies.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to build relationships and strategic alliances.Strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent time management skills with a proved ability to meet deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively to accomplish objectives as both a team member and team leader.Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to generate and work with Excel models while simultaneously implementing new business enterprise systems.A minimum of 5 years experience with proven knowledge of indirect commodity management.Ability to travel 15% of the time, nationally or internationally as required.Work Environment:While performing the duties of this position, the employee normally works in an office environment, but occasionally will be required to work in a manufacturing or laboratory at Hayward.
