JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for the continuous development, implementation , and execution of strategies to improve the company logistics team. While also ensuring the logistics operations meet and exceed customer expectations & KPIs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead and manage the logistics team to achieve company targets Act as the liaise with the relevant parties for the setting up of logistics infrastructure in any new global markets Develop and manage the logistics infrastructure, procedures, and systems in any new global markets Design, implement, and ensure compliance of SOPs for new projects Manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability Set up and refine daily logistics operations and procedures Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Set up JAS's e-Commerce center and to extend the logistics business development to SPRC SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Implementation Manager Conduct performance evaluation for direct reports Recommend hiring, firing and promotion Identify and resolve personnel issues Ongoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest level QUALIFICATIONS:

Good analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures Strong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Internal/external sales skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal skills, including presentation skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree in supply chain, logistics, or international business is preferred Must have 10+ years' experience working in 3PL warehouse environment Must have 5+ years' at supervisory level Experienced using labor management tools and reports Experienced managing a primarily TEMP/Contract workforce Familiar with logistics process Strong analytic skills are a plus

ENVIRONMENT:

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. National and International travel will be (up to 5 %) required in support of the position's responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.

ADDITIONAL:

In compliance with Washington state law, we provide pay transparency for all job applicants. The salary range for this position is $85,000-95,000 annually, this is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and the responsibilities of the role. The offered salary will fall within this range, depending on individual qualifications and market conditions.
