JOB SUMMARY:Strategic planning and execution of projects through Div Ops Committee. Coordination of all land related activities including homebuilding operational support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage projects from concept design through bond releaseCoordinate weekly meetings with engineering/homebuildingReport weekly on project status to Division President or VP Land DevelopmentReview bid documents/plans/specs and oversee bidding processApprove contractsFollow-up and pre- and post-construction process and feasibilityReview monthly budgetsMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needsUtilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talentDelegates work according to employee's abilities and skillsEvaluates employee's performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performanceProvides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunitiesCreates opportunities for employee growthProvides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)SCOPE:

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent in related fieldValid Driver's License because driving is an essential function of this position.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Related Functional Experience: minimum 10 yearsBasic fundamental knowledge of civil, geotechnical engineering and surveyingLand development/homebuilding construction experienceManage political process and interface with governmental entitiesCommunication, public speaking and leadership skillsMulti-tasking a requirementPAY RANGE:
$119,600 - $155,500 per yearHired applicant will be eligible to receive incentives
