About the Role
BTI360, a leading software development company serving the federal government, is experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking an experienced
Contracts Manager with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph
to join our team in Herndon, VA. You will play a critical role in managing business development support, prime contract management, subcontractor relations and overall contract compliance. As our Contracts Manager, you will have a solid background in government contracting, with expertise in managing both prime and subcontract agreements and a deep understanding of FAR/DFAR regulations.
In this role, you will:Be accountable for Pre-Award/Business Development Support:
Manage and is actively involved in the overall contractual support (reviewing, drafting, issuing, negotiation, and interpretation) of a wide range of contractual documents and agreements (prime contracts, NDAs, Teaming Agreements and subcontracts)Provide proposal support and manage contract awardsManage data calls, both as a prime contractor and subcontractorMaintain updates in government systems such as System for Award ManagementReview and provide feedback regarding commercial contract agreements
Be accountable for Prime Contract Management:Perform cradle-to-grave federal contracts administration with all contract types (FFP, FFP_LOE, T&M, CPFF and IDIQ)
Serve as the primary point of contact with government customers for contract communications and advise programs on risks and contractual issuesEnsure prime contract compliance and manage modifications.Execute all contract reporting requirements promptly and accurately, including invoicing.Manage Unanet system (our timekeeping system) for onboarding/offboarding and maintaining direct charge codesSet up and maintain new prime contracts in Unanet accounting systemAttend monthly contract status review (MCSR) meetings with onsite and offsite customers
Be accountable for Subcontractor and Vendor Management:
Manage and administer partner company (subcontractor) modifications and flow-downsOversee and correct subcontractor funding, hours and deliverable reportingCertify contract hours and communicate with partner companiesAssist in onboarding new partner company employees
You might thrive in this role if you:
Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraphHave a Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management or related fieldHave a minimum of 5-7 years performing in a contracts role supporting government contracting, specifically with prime and subcontract managementHave experience in managing contract negotiations, compliance and modificationsAre familiar with FAR/DFAR regulationsHave experience with Unanet (Project Portfolio Plus and Subcontractor Portal) and UKG Ready preferredHave experience working with government Contracting Officers (CO), prime contractors, subcontractors and resellersMeet US citizenship requirements for the positionYou will excel in this role if you have also these skills:
Proven ability to manage multiple contract vehicles (both prime and subcontractor) in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiation and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work cross-functionally, especially with business development, people, and finance teamsBTI360 benefits for full-time teammates
