Summary Description:

The

EHR System Administrator

will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing Greater Mental Health's electronic health record (EHR), Netsmart myEvolv, and all affiliated applications connected to the EHR. This individual will ensure the EHR system's integrity, security, and functionality to support clinical and operational workflows. The role requires a blend of technical, healthcare, and administrative expertise to maintain compliance with the regulatory standards and improve system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:System Maintenance & Support:

Responsible for all phases of database management, design, and administration of Greater Mental Health's EHR system (Netsmart myEvolv).Manage user accounts, access levels, and permissions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy policies.Monitor system backups, updates, and patches to ensure the system is secure and up-to-date.Collaborate with IT staff, clinical departments, and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless system integration.

System optimization:

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to customize workflows within the EHR to meet the needs of the programs within Greater Mental Health.Identify opportunities for EHR system improvements to enhance clinical efficiency and client care outcomes.Create and optimize EHR templates, forms, and reports to streamline documentation and data retrieval processes.

Knowledge:

Creates, maintains, and updates, in conjunction with the EHR Trainer, an issue knowledgebase to document technical support issues and associated resolution approaches as part of proactive approaches to problem managementAttends and/or participates in relevant vendor trainings and/or user community meetings within NetsmartDevelop and implement policies and procedures for the Netsmart system, such as user access, data entry, documentation, and workflow.

Data Management & Reporting:

Develop and generate reports from the EHR system to support clinical and operational decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, Medicaid, or accreditation bodies).

Compliance & Security:

Ensure the EHR system complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other applicable behavioral health or substance abuse recovery standards.Monitor system security and privacy protocols to safeguard client data and ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations.Other designated or related duties.

Leaderhip

Manage the Informatics team of a Finance System Admin and an EHR trainer.

Key Competencies:

Proficiency with behavioral health EHR systems,

preferably Netsmart myEvolvExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within the EHR systems.Knowledge of the current behavioral health and medical developments and terminology.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.Must be extremely organized, flexible, and able to prioritize feedback or operational needs.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.At least 2-3 years supporting an enterprise-class EHR system;Strong computer knowledge: typing, communication tools, scheduling tools, and web browsers.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.Fluency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking).Must be and maintain clearance by applicable regulatory clearances as required.Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.Special Considerations :

Salary Range:

$70,000-$75,000 per year based on departmental budget, qualifications, experience, education, and licenses. This range represents the agency's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Flexible Work Arrangements:

Subject to business needs, including hybrid options.Paid Time Off:
