Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the team of a growing client of ours. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing full-scope accounting functions of the organization, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for performing technical accounting research and documenting accounting policies and procedures. Accounting Manager Benefits and Compensation: A professional in-office collaborative working environment Strong career growth potential Highly competitive compensation of $100,000-$130,000, plus bonus and benefits Accounting Manager Job Duties: Oversee and manage daily accounting functions and processes. Supervise and mentor accounting team. Take ownership of and coordinate the monthly financial close process. Prepare and validate financial statements for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Input accounting data accurately into the accounting system. Identify and address process inefficiencies, implementing improvements for better workflow. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing aligns with contractual agreements. Participate in both domestic and international annual audit processes. Maintain and update comprehensive financial records. Assist with annual renewals and tax preparation activities. Integrate new clients and business units into the accounting framework. Handle additional related tasks as needed or assigned. Accounting Manager Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA certification preferred. Over 6 years of progressive experience in accounting, supervisory skills required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable accounting standards. Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Self-motivated and capable of achieving goals with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and detail-oriented mindset.
