Prepare account reconciliations and analysisPrepare journal entries and assist with other areas of period closeAssist with preparation and review of monthly financial statementsBuild financial models to evaluate business resultsAnalyze budget versus actual performance and provide commentaryResearch and recommend proper GAAP treatment for various scenarios including M&A activityAd hoc and special projectsSenior Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required2+ years of corporate or public accounting experienceVery strong Excel requiredInterest and ability in devising policies, procedures, internal controls and efficienciesAbility to multi task and meet deadlinesGood people skills to assist cross-functionally
