Description
Performance Trust Capital Partners is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our internal finance and accounting team. We are targeting candidates with demonstrated knowledge of accounting fundamentals, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of projects relating to finance and operations in addition to monthly close responsibilities.

The Job
The Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring proper internal accounting procedures and processes are executed in a timely manner to support the creation of financial and business line managerial reports. This individual will use their analytical abilities to evaluate and interpret data. Assist in the preparation of journal entries by compiling, analyzing, and substantiating financial transactions Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly within the close timeline Research, track, and resolve accounting problems Assist in month end, quarter end and annual close processes and reporting Prepare PBC's for annual audit Act as support/back up for accounts receivable/payable functions Respond to financial queries from FP&A and other departments The Skills
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience Undergraduate degree in Accounting Financial services experience preferred, not required Progress towards CPA highly encouraged, not required Strong IT skills - GL ERP (Oracle preferred), intermediate Excel, etc. Ability to perform detailed-oriented work, manage multiple competing priorities, problem solve, think critically and work independently
